Do you want to be a global trainer?3 Secrets nobody is talking about.

What are trainers doing wrong when trying to monetize their workouts online?

Now more than ever personal trainers see their financial future tied to the digital world. Many trainers have tried to move away from 1 to 1 method to 1 to many. Basically trying to increase their income by working less hours and being more efficient.

However, even though they have tried tirelessly, they have been unsuccessful. What's the point of trying to build up an audience when at the end of the day they can't monetize that following.

What are they doing wrong?

Before we analyze the problem, we have to understand the methods they normally use to sell their workouts online.

A study done by NY University in the beginning of March 2022, concluded that 98% of personal trainers normally used 3 methods to achieve their goals.

  • Rent a platform that's halfway done.
  • Build an application from the ground up.
  • Or they use a platform that supports much more than just fitness content

1- Semi-finished platforms for rent.

Often times, professionals including trainers, think that business is only related to a product and forget all the work behind the process. Therefore, if you are going to sell flowers in a shop, it is not enough to simply buy the flowers. First, you should find a room for rent. The environment must be located in a populated area or shopping mall in order to open a store where the buyers are located. After finding the store, you should take care to decorate it in the best way possible. You need to find a business name that also needs a logo. You should also think of some graphics that will be part of your brand and differentiate yourself. You have to open an account on social media, post every day, write beautifully, find finance but also learn how you can control the finances. To pay taxes, insurance, municipal and central taxes. You have to find out how the flowers will be transported to the customer, who will wash the windows of the shop, who will clean it, who will help you to stay open 16 hours a day and much, much more. Oh, I forgot, you have to buy the flowers too. So the number one solution of coaches is the problem itself. Getting an online app does not solve business problems later. What you need is to focus on creating a fitness method that will give results to your clients and not on the problems that the business has. For this reason, most of the trainers do not last on these platforms for a long time, the ones that use these platforms often case end up losing money, coming to the conclusion that "online training cannot be sold". However, many established brands manage to generate hundreds of millions in profit every year.

2- Build an application from the ground up.

This is probably the worst idea, which has caused many trainers not only to not succeed but to lose tens of thousands several times and hundreds of thousands of dollars trying this to this day.

Trainers, caught up in the excitement of the digital world, take it upon themselves to create something from scratch, thinking that all users will appear there from scratch to do their workouts. It is enough that the workouts are ok and that's all.

They start and sit down with a designer and work intensively for 2 months to create something with their tastes. Then they go to a development company where they work with them for at least another 12 months.

The end? A bag of money spent that will not compete with other established platforms or brands.

At the end of the day, in order to have a good app and product , only the knowledge of the coach is not enough, on the other side must also be the right international level. It's the same thing as putting Cristiano Ronaldo in the game to play with a defender who plays every Sunday with "boys" in the neighborhood. He will grind it, slaughter it. Undoubtedly, Ronaldo will win.

If we look at the cases of Success Steve Jobs had Steve Wozniak. A genius in business and marketing with a genius in technology. Or Bill Gates with Paul Allen. Or Larry Page with Sergey Mikhailovich who founded Google. Or Paypal, Airbnb and so on.

It takes 2 to tango.

Even if you find "this” Cristiano Ronaldo, again this method does not solve the problems of the semi-finished platform.

3- Using circumstantial methods or platforms not suitable for fitness.

This is the part where coaches get creative. Due to the lack of knowledge of a suitable free platform, they have used popular platforms such as Instagram to sell their workouts. With the introduction of the new Subscribe feature, Instagram wanted to push content creators to generate income. The problem with Instagram is that it is not a suitable user experience for fitness or for many other content creators, making the experience that the user receive very little valuable.

In fact, many internationally famous social media influencers write that the user experiences a shock when he makes the payment and says that once again he cannot find what he was looking for before making the payment. Or that the content he/she paid for is the same as the free content.

Other forms that the trainers have tried are by sending videos on WhatsApp, excel files with photos and descriptions on the side or long messages accompanied by videos. How many guys? Really?

By doing this, you are simply losing the trust of a user who does not have time to come to the gym or cannot afford one-on-one training, and they turn to established platforms and brands to subscribe to them and continue there.

But what is right for a coach?

Do you know the first 3 rules in business books?

  • Location
  • Location
  • Location

Location boys and girls. If you want to sell something, don't open a shop in the mountains where people are scarce, but make sure you go to an area with a lot of traffic. If you want to sell a lot and make a lot of money, run away from the area where there are very few people and enter a shopping mall.

This is the only method that can make someone rich without much effort. Let's take a look at some examples:

Airbnb is a platform where anyone can log in and upload some photos and a description of their home and wait. People will come there and reserve the house for a week, a weekend, rain or snow because that's where the people are. Now let's imagine if someone who is going to rent the house starts to create their own app with a website just for a house. It doesn't make sense.

Uber Any person who wants to generate income just needs to get into Uber and accompany travelers where they want to go and magically the customers will come.

Booking Booking is a platform that provides more hotel options than any other country in the world, making it totally uncomfortable for a user to search for a hotel in another country. There you can compare, follow the comments, see the room, location, etc.

So a trainer needs an Interactive Fitness Ecosystem. A place where users come there for the sole purpose of fitness and exercise. That's it.

This is the best way you can earn money simply by selling your online training. Sign-up to a fitness ecosystem.

OneMor does exactly this. It generates the audience and lets the trainers use it without having to do all the work that usually goes into this business. No payment from the Trainer.

A trainer has difficulties not only with creating a program, but often the problems that arise in creating good professional content, there are difficulties to increase the audience, to sell their audiences, to speak in front of the camera etc.

For this reason, Onemor provides the trainer with a series of premium educational materials that teach the trainers all the tips and tricks they need to generate an audience and to further sell their training.

Besmir's Breakthrough: How Onemor is Redefining the Fitness Industry for Trainers

My Name is Besmir Prendi. I lived in NY for 24 years, during which I was involved in a variety of sports like Football,American Football, Baseball, Lacrosse etc. The last 4 years living there, I gotinvolved in Personal Training at “UFC Gym” and “La Fitness” and I became goodfriends with other personal trainers such as Tatiana Lampa, Rachel Morales andMike Barthalemy.

They had already grown a large fitness community and gladly welcomed me intoit. After a while I noticed a trend in the fitness community which didn’t sittoo well with me “trading time for money”.  In the fitness world, that was not hard, justwas very limited. In reality the best way to make money was 1 on 1 training. An8-hour workday; 1 hour per client, someone running late, someone can’t make it,you do the math. After a few years of doing this, I remember saying to myself:“There has to be an easier way to make money in this business other thantrading my time for money or dumping a large amount of money into a website orapp.” They require lots of money and time with little to no guarantee forsuccess. In addition, expanding your business on Instagram is like shopping forpaint at the supermarket. Sure, you might find a spray can but chances are theywill not have the color you want.

A good friend of mine, Tatiana Lampa, decided todo just that, built an app and a website and invested a great deal of money onboth. Her days consist of constantly updating her website and application, shooting workout videos, editing, talking to clients on multiple platformsInstagram, Facebook, TikTok, Training with T-App, website messages etc. I oftenasked her how she managed to keep up with everything. “It’s an extremelydifficult process”, she told me, “and often I don’t have time for anything.” So,I was right back to where I started.

Ourgoal as fitness trainers is to positively impact people's lives and make moneywhile doing it. The more people we help the more money we make. I once was oncethe person who relied on fitness as a method of self-improvement. After seeingthe impact fitness had on my life and the passion I had for it, I realized thatI wanted to share that with others.

So,one day when I was scrolling through Airbnb searching for a vacation home, afterexploring the platform of all the different options, I had found exactly what Iwas looking for. What appealed to me the most about the choice I made was thepresentation and description of the house.

IN AN INSTANT CAME ONE OF THOSE “WHAT IFMOMENTS”!

Alla host needed to do was upload the photos of the house, have a description andthat was all. The rest was Airbnb’s problem. So, I was thinking: What if thereis an application for Personal Trainers similar to what I had just experiencedwith the Airbnb App. A Fitness Ecosystem where people can go explore differentfitness disciplines and trainers from all around the world.”

Days passed and through sheer coincidence I came across an ad about an applicationfor trainers. I clicked and it turned out to be a small start-up company OnemorApp working on a platform for trainers. I emailed them and in no time someoneresponded. I had an extensive conversation with Alban Fejzaj and he toldme all about what they’ve been working on. It's funny because Albert Einsteinsaid coincidence is god's way of staying anonymous. I say this because as itturns out this app is exactly what trainers and the fitness world needs.

After many thoughts of how my future could be transformed and talking to many othertrainers, I realized that all the trainers I spoke to had the same problems. Was in that moment that I realized that I needed to go work on this start-upand try to elaborate as much as I could to make it relevant to all trainers'needs.

When I talked to the Onemor Team they couldn't agree more, since they were alsostruggling to learn and understand more about personal trainers. So let meshare with you a few things we are doing there.

Firstly, we will try to launch the MVP in December. Many trainers have already signed upfor the waiting list so I advise you to do the same. All the fitness ecosystemis served to the users and the trainers by the app. There is one app fortrainers and one for users and booth connect so you don't feel it.

Trainers can choose to create workouts in a follow along method or reps & time method. The Onemor App is designed keeping in mind the personal trainer so it's very user friendly and allows trainers to be creative. Each trainer will have their own profile page where users could go explore the trainer and their workouts. The trainers can also upload as many workouts as they want without a limit.

Besides the app, trainers will receive professional help on how to grow their audience, how to monetize their audience, how to make professional videos with their mobile phone and much more. Did I tell you that the trainers don't have to pay anything? Yeah, you heard that right.

The simple way to earn passive income for life as a Personal Trainer

Discover how inviting other trainers and users to Onemor can tremendously increase your passive income.

As a fitness coach, it’s rather difficult to earn passive income. As you navigate through endless working hours, being able to serve only a limited number of clients, you enjoy very little flexibility in your day-to-day work routine. This leaves very little room for any opportunities to make money on the side, and essentially you’re left with training being your only source of income.

And although the fitness industry has been massively growing, we know very well that personal trainers face a lot of difficulties in terms of growing their finances.

However, don’t get discouraged. There is one very simple way for you as a fitness trainer to multiply your earnings that requires very little time and effort. Today we’re sharing with you Onemor App and its unique referral program for personal trainers.

Join a Referral Program for Trainers and Unlock lifetime earnings

Onemor's referral program honors the efforts of early trainers joining our app. Upon joining, you'll receive a unique "Key," enabling you to invite other trainers and users. This system forms the primary way for expanding our community. Each invitation you send using your Key not only grows our network but also rewards you with ongoing revenue, multiplying your earnings with minimal effort.

Invite other users to Onemor

Each trainer receives a unique invite code, which they can share with other potential users. When a user downloads the Onemor app and signs up using this code, the trainer who shared the link benefits financially.

Specifically, trainers will receive a continuous 10% commission on any spending done by these referred users on the app. This comission can be earned for 10 years and is not affected by the activities or choices of the referred users, including which trainers they decide to follow.

Invite other Trainers to Onemor

Want to bring your trainer friends to the app? You can, and we’ll reward you for that.

Here's how it works: We provide you with a unique invite link that you can share with your trainer friends. When any of these trainers sign up for the app using your link, you become eligible for a bonus. For every such trainer who joins, you will receive a 5% share of the revenue they generate from their active subscribers.

This benefit isn't just a one-time thing; it continues for a specific period, allowing you to earn a steady income from each trainer you bring on board.

The future of the fitness industry:
a free fitness ecosystem

Being a personal trainer is certainly not easy. Especially in today’s fitness industry.

Being a personal trainer is certainly not easy. Especially in today’s fitness industry.

Trainers these days find themselves stuck in a cycle – trading hours for cash, limited to one-on-one sessions. The norm has become working from 7am to 8pm, sacrificing weekends and adapting your schedule at the last-minute requests of clients. Thus, you are constrained to a routine that leaves you with no time to yourself, no means of increasing your profit, let alone generating passive income. With this work-life balance, it’s not easy to avoid burnout or thoughts of switching careers.

Looking Beyond Traditional Methods

There are, of course, coaches who seem to have gotten out of this loop using other methods. Some have their own website, others have built one from scratch, while many try selling workouts via Instagram or other social networks. At first glance these look like viable options. But a deeper look will reveal that these are just short term solutions and you will end up losing time and money trying to make them work.

Take a minute to think about the resources that would require. All the time, investment, for something with an uncertain chance of success. After all, you can’t be expected to become a programmer, website developer, social media manager and business expert overnight. You signed up to be a personal trainer, and your focus should be on creating top-notch programs for your clients and monitoring their fitness journeys. Investing in those other aspects would take away the very essence of being a coach, and make you forget why you started in the first place.

Although the fitness industry is moving at a fast pace, there seems to be a gap - a missing marketplace where fitness enthusiasts gather with a single goal in mind: purchasing workouts. An ecosystem that seamlessly connects personal trainers and fitness lovers, just like Booking for Hotels and Spotify for music.

Onemor Payment Model

Onemor's Innovative Model Offers Trainers Transparent Earnings and Multiple Revenue Streams

Although we’ve revealed quite a lot about the app, how it works and its main features, one major component of the Onemor ecosystem is undoubtedly the revenue distribution. At Onemor, we aim to be completely transparent when it comes to the income each trainer gets, and how that is distributed. We’re sticking to our goal of helping trainers maximize their profits, so we have different ways through which you will be able to generate income. Let’s take them one by one:

SAVE YOUR SPOT

Initial Setup:
Free Trial and Subscription Choice

Upon signing up on Onemor, every user is prompted to choose a subscription model, which becomes active after a 30-day free trial. This choice is crucial as it dictates the user's access level and, consequently, your potential earnings as a trainer. Users have two main subscription options:

Local
Subscription

Users can access and follow ONLY one trainer’s workouts. These users are your “active subscribers”.

$19.99
/month
$99.99
/year
Global
Subscription

Users have access to all trainers and their respective workouts, so they choose which trainers they’d like to follow.
These are your global subscribers.

$28.99

Understanding Fees and Revenue Cuts

After the free trial of a user ends, the App Store or Google Play Store take a standard 30% cut of the subscription revenue. What’s left is our 100%, and Onemor will only take a 20% cut from this.

How will you profit through subscriptions?

Local Subscribers

These are users who choose to have access to only one trainer’s profile, and therefore can only follow that specific trainer’s workouts. Earnings from these subscribers are subject to only the 30% App Store/Play Store cut.

Let’s take a hypothetical scenario where your earnings from an active subscriber are $100 after the App Store/Play Store cut. Onemor will take 20% out of this, which leaves you with $80 in your pocket. Which means you’re getting an 80% share of the revenue.

SAVE YOUR SPOT

Global Subscribers

These subscribers were not brought in the app directly by you, nor are they tied to one specific trainer, so we’ll call them “organic users”. The revenue you earn through them is determined by how much time they spend on your profile/how many workouts of yours they complete. As they navigate the profiles of many other trainers, this will be thrown into an engagement pool and divided proportionally between each trainer they follow.

From the whole revenue, a 10% cut will go to the trainer who brought these clients in. (Keep scrolling to find out how.) After this, Onemor will take a 20% cut, leaving each trainer with 70% of the revenue. For example, if a Global Subscriber's monthly fee contributes $100 to the revenue pool, and your engagement proportion is 10% (meaning a user has spent 10% of their time on your profile), you would earn $7 (70% of $10) from that subscriber for that month.

SAVE YOUR SPOT

Earn more through Referrals

There are always other ways to earn more through Onemor. As a trainer, you will be able to invite other trainers AND users in the app through your unique invite link.

If you bring in clients on the app, you will earn 10% of their spendings for lifetime. Regardless of their activity on the app, you still get 10% extra.

Want to bring your trainer friends to our fitness ecosystem? For every trainer you bring through the invite link, you will earn 5% of the revenue they’ll make for a certain time period. Learn more about our referral program right here.

A Trainer-centric Revenue Model

At Onemor, we recognize the struggles trainers face with finances and expanding their income. While every trainer might not reach the same success, or gain the same number of clients as others, we aim to give them as many opportunities to maximize their profits. Our revenue distribution model is created to ease financial burdens and offer a supportive growth environment.

Ultimately, Onemor is committed to redefining success in fitness training. We strive to make this industry more inclusive and prosperous, ensuring every trainer with Onemor has the opportunity to turn their passion into a thriving career.

8 Content Ideas Guaranteed to Boost your Trainer Profile on Social Media

Fitness in the Digital Age: Are You Missing Out on These Social Media Strategies?

In today's fast-paced digital age, personal trainers have a golden opportunity to take their career to new heights by leveraging the power of social media. Using social media is a great way to increase visibility and establish yourself as a trainer in the market. However, not everything you post will get you the desired results.

This is why it is important to have a well-thought-out content strategy that will keep users engaged and help you expand your audience even further. Here are 7 content ideas that will help you establish a reputation and gain more followers on your trainer profile on Social Media:

1. Post Educational and Informative Videos

Short, informative videos are a great way to capture your audience's attention. In these reels, it’s good to cover a wide range of topics, like exercise, nutrition, fitness tips, debunking common fitness myths. The key is to keep them concise, visually appealing, and packed with valuable information. This not only establishes your expertise as a coach but also keeps your audience engaged.

2. Share Client Success Stories

Nothing is more inspiring than witnessing real people achieve their fitness goals. Sharing client testimonials on your social media trainer profile will not only motivate your audience to keep going with their journey, but they will also give you credibility as a trainer who has helped other people become fit. There are many ways you can do this.

You could ask clients to record a video testimonial, you could post before and after pictures and provide more detailed information about their transformation in the caption.

3. Host Live Sessions

Onemor-event-Marin Camaj-Coach

Engage with your audience in real-time by hosting live workouts or Q&A sessions on platforms like Instagram or Facebook. Through live workout sessions, your audience will see you in action as a trainer and gain more insight on what it’s like working with you. These are great interactive methods to keep your audience engaged and to showcase your experience in real time.

4. Provide Daily Motivation

Keep your audience inspired and motivated by sharing uplifting quotes, fitness challenges, and daily tips. The quotes and advice you share should touch on their pain points and encourage them to keep going with their fitness journey. Quotes and advice are also highly shareable, which will further increase your reach on social media.

5. Collaborate with Influencers

Expand your reach by collaborating with influential fitness enthusiasts or local wellness experts. Consider partnering with popular fitness bloggers, nutritionists, or wellness influencers for joint posts and video campaigns. This can introduce you to new audiences and boost your reputation.

6. Build Relationships

Social media is all about building relationships. Respond promptly to comments and messages, and engage with your followers. Show genuine interest in their fitness journeys and provide helpful advice

7. Share User Generated Content

Whenever your clients share anything related to your training - snippets from your sessions together, progress photos, videos, make sure to ask them to tag you and repost them on your social media page as well. This will redirect many other users to your profile and drive engagement even higher.

8. Showcase moments from your daily routine

Social media marketing for trainers does not only have to be business-centered. As a trainer, you also need to help your audience know you more as an individual. Share reels from your daily routine, what you do on your off-days, what you eat in a day, your training philosophy. This will make you look more approachable and help you connect with your audience on a more personal level.

9. Conclusion

Social media is evolving at a very fast pace, bringing many opportunities for fitness trainers who want to promote their business and gain more exposure. However, posting content that the algorithm will boost is not an easy task.

It is important to stay up-to-date with the latest changes and trends in social media platforms and to always keep a consistent posting schedule. Keep in mind to also pay attention to the visual aspect of your posts - the quality, angles, editing and many more. What do clients expect from you as a personal trainer?

Your clients come to you to get in shape, but how can you help them commit to you in the long run?

Whether you’re an established personal trainer or you’re just getting started in the fitness business, clients never get easier to read and understand. If being a personal trainer was just about helping people get in shape, then everybody who’s a regular gym-goer could do it. However, the psychological aspect is what plays a very important part in the relationship you will have with your clients, and how that will affect their results and outcomes.

Although your ripped physique might help you attract more clients, your approach and attitude towards them is what will make them stay. When people hit the gym, they're not just carrying their water bottles—they're also carrying hopes that they don't always talk about. Which is why it is extremely important to make an effort to understand your clients: what they really want from you and what they expect from you as a personal trainer.

Here are some qualities people look for when they sign up for your training sessions:

A trainer who’s honest

Truth be told, your clients are not completely sure about what they want most of the time. This is one of the reasons why they are seeking your expertise. What they need is someone who guides them, who is able to provide knowledge beyond what they could access at home or just a regular gym.

You also have to be the one to help them find a motivation that is not superficial, but that will keep them committed on the long run – and essentially will help them achieve change. Help them find out their “why”, their purpose, and from there lead the way.

A Trainer Who Guides Them

When people come to you for a session, they most likely have very unrealistic goals set. Which is why it is very important for you as a trainer to be honest and upfront with them. You have to be the one to keep them grounded and help your clients set realistic and attainable goals.

Making empty promises and giving false reassurance will only make your clients feel disappointed when the outcomes are not what they expected. Discuss the effort required, the time commitment, and the discipline needed to reach their goals. Celebrate the small victories with them while still being transparent about the challenges ahead.

A trainer who listens

Being an active listener is one of the most important traits people will expect from you as a personal trainer. You have to be extremely attentive to your clients’ needs.

Continuously asking questions helps you gain a deeper understanding of your clients' motivations, their challenges with past fitness regimes, and their current concerns. Listening to your clients' feedback about their progress is also crucial. It informs you what's working and what isn't, allowing you to tailor their programs for optimal results. Perhaps a certain exercise isn't giving the expected results, or maybe it's causing discomfort; these are the nuances you can only grasp through attentive listening.

This level of understanding and responsiveness can significantly enhance the client's experience and satisfaction with your service, leading to a more fruitful and lasting trainer-client relationship.

A trainer who cares

Even when they don't say it, clients want their trainers to notice the hard work they put in. A little praise or a thumbs-up can make their day. Acknowledge their efforts, recognize their achievements, and sometimes, just ask how they're doing. Small gestures, like remembering a detail they shared about their life or following up on a past conversation, can go a long way.

However, we know how tough this can be given your busy day-to-day routine. It might be necessary to incorporate a system into your schedule to check in with clients outside of training sessions. Use technology to your advantage; a quick message or a motivational email can be a way to show your support. It's not just about the physical training; it's about being present and attentive to their overall wellbeing.

A trainer who stays committed

Lastly, people want a trainer who's in it for the long haul. They like to know that their trainer will stick by them, helping them get healthier step by step.

Staying committed also means being proactive — checking in on clients' off days, providing them with resources to stay on track. It’s about creating an environment where clients feel they are part of a supportive fitness community, not just a number on your schedule. This level of dedication requires a deep understanding of each client’s individual journey and the patience to see it through the long game. After all, a trainer’s true success is measured not by client numbers, but by the sustained progress and wellbeing of the individuals they coach.

Wrapping it up

Being a personal trainer is so much more than helping clients get in shape. Building and maintaining healthy and long-lasting relationships with your clients requires a lot of time and effort.

The best trainers know that they’re not just in the business of muscle and sweat. They're in the business of boosting confidence, managing expectations, and sometimes, just being the person who listens. It's about high-fives for the small wins and real talk when goals seem a million miles away. It's about sticking with them for the long game, being their go-to person not just on training days but every day in between.

So, as you lace up those trainers and prep for the next session, remember, you're shaping more than just bodies. Keep it real, keep it honest, and keep it all about the people you’re there to support. That's what makes a good trainer great and turns a workout session into a life-changing experience.

The Ultimate Roadmap to Get more Personal Training Clients through Social Media

Simple yet effective steps to help you tap into your target audience and convert them into your personal training clients.

Social Media is a great platform to promote your training business to a wider audience full of potential clients. If used correctly, social media can serve as a powerful tool to take your career to the next level. Every day, millions of people browse Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, many of them on the lookout for guidance to improve their health and fitness. As a fitness coach on social media, you can tap into this vast audience to showcase your expertise and services.

However, thousands of other fitness trainers, nutritionists, wellness experts consistently share content online, all with the purpose of attracting new customers. With this sort of competition, standing out is not an easy task. In order to fully capture the attention of your followers and turn them into clients, you need to tailor your content to their needs and interests.

Here’s how to effectively utilize social media platforms to get more potential training clients:

Identify Your Target Audience

The first step on your journey to social media success is to clearly define your target audience. The fitness world is incredibly diverse, with potential clients ranging from busy professionals looking to manage their health, new moms seeking post-pregnancy fitness solutions, to aspiring adapt your content to address the specific needs, goals, and desires of your chosen audience.

For instance, if you're targeting busy professionals, your content could focus on time-efficient workouts and stress-reduction techniques that fit into their hectic schedules. On the other hand, if you're appealing to new moms, you might want to emphasize postpartum fitness, childcare-friendly workouts, and nutritional advice to help them regain their pre-pregnancy vitality.

Understanding your audience is the foundation of a successful social media strategy for your personal trainer profile. It enables you to create content that resonates with your potential clients.

Understand Their Challenges

Once you've identified your target audience, it's essential to delve into their challenges. What are the obstacles and difficulties they face on their fitness journey? Understanding the struggles your potential clients encounter, such as a lack of time, motivation, or knowledge, is crucial for creating content that empathizes with their pain points.

For instance, if your audience includes new moms, you'll need to acknowledge the challenges of post-pregnancy fitness, including time constraints, sleep deprivation, and the need for modified workouts. By showing that you understand these difficulties, you'll earn the trust of your audience.

Agitate the Pain Points

To truly connect with your social media followers, you should take the next step and agitate their pain points. This means painting a vivid picture of the negative consequences that result from inaction. It's essential to make them realize that neglecting their fitness and well-being can have severe repercussions.

For example, if you're targeting busy professionals, you could highlight the potential health risks, such as increased stress, decreased energy levels, and long-term health issues. By agitating these pain points, you create a sense of urgency and emphasize the importance of taking action.

Paint the Desired Outcome

Now, inspire your audience by painting the picture of their desired outcome. Help them visualize the incredible transformations they can achieve by working with you. Describe the physical and mental benefits they'll experience, creating a vision of their ideal selves.

For instance, if you're targeting aspiring athletes, you can describe the benefits of your training program, such as improved performance, increased strength, and a competitive edge in their chosen sport. Creating this vision of success can motivate potential clients to take action and work towards their fitness goals.

Provide Free Value

Social media is an excellent platform to provide free value to your audience. By offering fitness tips, nutrition advice, workout routines, or healthy recipes, you can establish yourself as a valuable resource and build a loyal following. Providing free value demonstrates your expertise and commitment to helping your audience achieve their fitness goals.

For example, you can create informative content addressing common fitness questions or debunking myths in the fitness industry. Sharing valuable content not only attracts followers but also positions you as a knowledgeable and trusted source in the fitness community.

Introduce Premium Coaching Services

After you've provided value and established your expertise, it's time to introduce your premium coaching services or exclusive programs. These offerings go beyond what your potential clients can achieve on their own and provide the personalized support, accountability, and accelerated results they're seeking.

When introducing your premium services, be sure to clearly explain the benefits and advantages of your programs. Whether it's one-on-one coaching, customized workout plans, or specialized nutrition guidance, your premium services should cater to the specific needs and goals of your clients.

Inject Scarcity

Creating a sense of urgency is a powerful marketing strategy. By introducing scarcity into your offer, you can motivate potential clients to take action quickly. You can do this by highlighting that you have limited spots available or by offering limited-time bonuses for those who sign up within a specified time frame.

For example, you can emphasize that you only have a few open slots for one-on-one coaching, creating a feeling of exclusivity and urgency. This encourages potential clients to seize the opportunity and commit to your program before the opportunity disappears.

Call to Action

Finally, you need to guide your audience to take the next step. Encourage them to reach out to you for a consultation, sign up for a trial session, or visit your website to learn more about your services. Make the call to action clear and straightforward, ensuring that your potential clients can easily connect with you and start their fitness journey.

For instance, you can invite your audience to schedule a free consultation to discuss their fitness goals and how your coaching services can help them achieve those goals. Ensure that you provide clear contact information and easy access to booking or inquiry options.

Conclusion

In conclusion, social media is more than just a platform for sharing content; it's a dynamic environment where personal trainers can build meaningful connections with potential clients. By understanding and engaging with your audience, empathizing with their challenges, and providing real value, you can differentiate yourself from the competition.

Remember, the key to converting social media followers into clients is to consistently offer insightful, targeted content that leads them toward a clear call to action. How to Write the Perfect Bio for Your Personal Trainer Profile on Social Media

How can you make the most out of 150 characters to immediately catch your audience’s attention? Let’s find out.

150 characters. That’s the limit Instagram has set for its bio.

Although 150 characters may seem limited, it's all you need to make a lasting impression. In today's fast-paced world, lengthy bios are out; concise, impactful ones are in. On Instagram, you need to write a short bio that’s catchy and captures your audience’s attention. Your bio is your first chance to connect with followers and answer their burning questions: Who are you? What methods do you follow? Are you licensed or certified in specific areas?

Make every character count, and you'll establish credibility and capture attention in an instant.Let’s look at a step-by-step guide on how to write a good bio for your Instagram trainer profile.

Why Your Bio Matters:

  • Capture Attention: In a sea of fitness professionals, a carefully crafted bio sets you apart and piques curiosity.

  • Establish Credibility: Highlighting your certifications and expertise instills trust and confidence in potential clients.

  • Attract Target Audience: By clearly defining your focus area and mission, you attract individuals seeking your specific services.

  • Drive Engagement: Including a compelling call to action and links encourages users to explore your content and take the next step.

Optimizing Your Bio Basics:

  • Your Name: Keep it professional yet personable, incorporating keywords related to your niche or specialty.

  • Focus Area: Highlight your area of expertise front and center to attract individuals seeking your specific skill set.

  • Certifications: Flaunt your certifications and qualifications to add credibility and reassure potential clients of your expertise.

Writing Your Mission Statement

Your mission statement is the heartbeat of your Instagram bio, conveying your purpose, values, and unique approach as a personal trainer. A good mission statement must include the following points:

  • Purpose: Clearly state your purpose – helping clients achieve fitness goals, promoting wellness, etc.

  • Values: Communicate core values like integrity, empathy, and dedication.

  • Target Audience: Identify who you serve – busy professionals, athletes, etc.

  • Unique Approach: Highlight what sets you apart – specialized training methods, personalized plans.

  • Impact: Describe the transformation you aim to facilitate – improved health, happiness, and lifelong habits.

Here are a few examples to inspire your own mission statement:

Including a Call to Action and Links

Don't let your bio be a dead end – include a call to action (CTA) that prompts users to take action, whether it's visiting your website, booking a consultation, or downloading a free resource. Additionally, leverage the "link in bio" feature to direct users to your website, blog, or other relevant content. Make it easy for potential clients to connect with you and access valuable resources that support their fitness journey.

By strategically optimizing your Instagram bio with a clear focus, compelling mission statement, and actionable elements, you position yourself for success in attracting and engaging your ideal clientele. Remember, your bio is not just a summary of your services – it's a powerful tool for building your brand, expanding your reach, and driving meaningful connections with your audience.

However, having a catchy bio is just the beginning. Consistently posting engaging content is essential to converting visitors into potential clients. Your posts should provide value, showcase your expertise, and resonate with your audience, reinforcing the message conveyed in your bio and further establishing trust and credibility.

5 Proven Ways to Increase Your Income as a Personal Trainer without Raising your Prices

You don’t have to suffer through long working hours to make more money. You just have to become part of a fitness ecosystem.

Feeling stuck as a personal trainer? You've got clients, but raising prices feels scary, and the paycheck just isn't cutting it. It's tough being limited to one-on-one sessions, wanting more but not sure how to get there. But guess what? There's hope!

There are other paths to achieving financial freedom as a personal trainer. It's time to think outside the box and explore new opportunities. Imagine diversifying your services beyond traditional one-on-one sessions, reaching a broader audience while maximizing your earning potential. And what if I told you that a fitness ecosystem could be your ticket to success?

SAVE YOUR SPOT

What is a Fitness Ecosystem?

It’s a term you might be unfamiliar with, but in essence a fitness ecosystem is an online platform, an open marketplace dedicated to fitness enthusiasts and personal trainers. Think of the way Spotify works for artists and music listeners, or Booking for hotels and people who are traveling - the same model applies to a fitness ecosystem like Onemor is.

Think of it like this: similar to how a musician puts their songs on Spotify and fans subscribe to listen, you can upload your workout programs to a platform, and people interested in exercising can sign up to follow your routines.

How can a Fitness Ecosystem Help a Fitness Coach like me Achieve Financial Independence?

Through a fitness ecosystem, you can connect with clients worldwide, breaking free from geographical constraints. And with access to so many clients from all over the globe, you can expand your income even further.

You can create and sell your own training programs on the platform. Whether it’s video series, workout plans, or nutrition guides, a fitness ecosystem provides the marketplace for you to monetize your content without the need for your own website or marketing budget.

The importance of diversifying income streams for a Personal Trainer

Relying on a single income source can be risky. Diversifying income streams not only increases financial security but also opens up new opportunities for growth and engagement. For a fitness coach, it means not being solely dependent on one-to-one client sessions. By spreading income sources, trainers can lower the impact of market fluctuations, seasonal changes, and unforeseen circumstances, ensuring a more stable financial position.

What methods can I use to earn more profit as a personal trainer?

1. Sell your training programs on a Fitness Ecosystem

Onemor is a fitness app for personal trainers to sell their workouts online.

Putting your workout plans online opens up the chance to connect with many people, not just those who can physically come to you. Consider creating videos or guides that anyone, anywhere, can easily follow. Platforms like Onemor are great for sharing your workouts with people around the globe.

Begin by writing down a range of training programs that have worked well for your clients before. Next, you just need to film yourself performing these workouts, whether you're at your local gym or in your living room. It's smart to record several of these videos in one go. That way, when you set up your account, you can quickly fill it with content, making it attractive to potential clients right off the bat.

This approach also has the advantage of being scalable. This means that once you've put together a quality program, you can sell it over and over, reaching more people without any extra costs for each sale.

2. Combine in-person and online training

If you still like training with clients at a gym, but need an extra source of income, why not do both?

Being a hybrid trainer means you get the best of both worlds: you can work with clients one-on-one in person and also sell your training programs online. This way, you're not limited to just the people who can meet you at the gym. This setup lets you keep the personal connection and customized advice that comes with face-to-face sessions, while also offering your expertise to a much wider audience through your online programs.

In simple terms, you can help your local clients get fit with personal sessions, and at the same time, have people from all over following your workout plans from their homes. It's a smart move because it lets you make more money without having to add extra hours to your day.

3. Expand your services

If sticking to one discipline or one type of training program isn’t cutting it, then think about what else you can offer. Maybe you know a lot about nutrition or can help people with specific needs, like getting back into shape after an injury. Online, this can be done through adding nutrition plans, bonus materials, as well as including training programs from other disciplines to reach a wider audience.

If you want a change of scenery, a lot of corporate offices offer weekly group classes for their employees at their premises. Reach out to local businesses and organizations to propose corporate wellness programs aimed at improving employee health and productivity. Offer services such as on-site fitness classes, lunchtime workouts, ergonomic assessments, and wellness workshops on topics like stress management, nutrition, and mental health.

4. Referrals

Referrals are a powerful way to grow your training business. Happy clients are often eager to share their positive experiences with friends and family. You can encourage this by setting up a referral program, where you offer existing clients a reward, like a free session or a discount on their next package, for every new client they bring in. This not only boosts your client base but also strengthens your relationship with current clients.

Onemor also supports referrals by having a referral program where you as a trainer can invite other trainers and users to join the platform and earn more based on commissions. This is the ideal solution for personal trainers who want to earn passive income.

5. Become a brand ambassador

Becoming an ambassador for popular clothing brands, supplement companies involves establishing an online presence first. You need to be consistently posting content on different channels, attending events and networking with prominent people in the industry.

Being active on a platform like Onemor enhances your visibility as a fitness professional. Since your content is being exposed to so many people from all over the world, it opens up new opportunities for you.

Wrapping it up

In conclusion, there are numerous ways for personal trainers to increase their income and expand their business without resorting to raising prices. By implementing a combination of these strategies and adapting them to your unique strengths and preferences, you can unlock new revenue streams, attract more clients, and achieve greater financial success in your personal training career.

Maximizing Off-Peak Periods: How to deal with Seasonal Clients & Retain Personal Training Clients Year Round

Here’s what you can do to keep your clients motivated and always chasing the next goal

It’s the first week of January and you’re getting calls and messages left and right.

You’re booked and busy and can barely fit clients into your schedule.

Fast forward to July and baaam. It’s all crickets.

It's a common cycle for fitness enthusiasts and trainers alike.

But what if we told you, it doesn’t always have to be this way?

1. EDUCATION

When you were in high school and learning all these complex calculus formulas you always wondered “when will I ever get to use this?”. And all of that information became so boring because you saw no use for it and nobody taught you the logic behind. The same thing applies to your clients. You need to not only give them surface level information, but dive deeper into each exercise - how it affects the muscles, why it’s great for the body and what changes to expect. Your clients need to know your programs and the methodology behind them as well as you do.

This will help them understand that fitness is not just a temporary journey, but it matters in the long haul.

You have to teach them that getting fit isn't a sprint; it's a marathon.

2. VARIETY

Variety, whether it be in training programs, goals, nutrition, is truly the key to making any client not get bored of you or drop you 2 months in.

You should continuously set new goals with your clients.

Setting new targets gives your clients something to look forward to, whether it's hitting a personal best, mastering a new exercise, or trying out a different discipline altogether. By aligning their workouts with these goals, you keep things interesting and challenging for them.

3. INCENTIVES AND CHALLENGES

As a kid, grocery shopping with your parents wasn’t exactly exciting unless you knew there was a treat waiting for you at the end. This same principle applies to personal training clients: people are motivated by incentives and challenges.

Giving out cool benefits like free sessions, nutrition tips, or discounts on training can make a big difference. They get something solid to aim for, keeping them focused on their goals. There is also nothing more motivating than challenges, so try to integrate them when you see clients showing up less and less for sessions.

4. CONCLUSION

When training people 1-on-1, client lifecycles can fluctuate, no matter how hard you try. The key is to stay flexible, adapting to your client’s feedback and needs.

This approach ensures you're always providing value, keeping them engaged and committed.

And for a more stable income, without the seasonal worries, Onemor is your go-to platform. It opens up opportunities to connect with clients year-round, diversifying your income sources and helping you maintain steady earnings, regardless of the season. - needs to be simplified.

Onemor is not just a platform; it's your partner in creating a more secure, thriving fitness career.
